1. About These Terms
These terms apply to theuntangledway.com and everything offered through it: readings, live sessions, and digital products. By booking a reading, scheduling a session, or making a purchase, you agree to them. The Untangled Way is operated by The Untangled Way LLC, based in Wyoming.
I’ve written these in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, email me at amy@theuntangledway.com before you book.
2. Who Can Book
You must be at least 18 years old to book a reading or session, purchase a product, or request the free Sampler Reading. By booking or purchasing, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
3. What a Reading Is — and Isn’t
Readings from The Untangled Way offer reflection and pattern recognition. They are a way of looking at your life through the lens of astrology and Human Design. They are not predictions, and they don’t come with guarantees about any outcome.
Every reading names the tradition it draws from: Western tropical astrology, with its ancient, cross-cultural lineage, and Human Design, a 20th-century synthesis of the I Ching, Kabbalah, the Hindu chakra system, and astrology.
A reading is not:
- Medical, mental health, or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Legal, financial, or investment advice
- Therapy, counseling, or crisis support
- A substitute for care from a licensed professional
You remain the authority on your own life. Any decision you make after a reading is yours, and you’re responsible for it.
4. If You’re in Crisis
The Untangled Way is not equipped to provide crisis or emergency support. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please reach out for immediate help:
- In the United States, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
- Outside the United States, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country.
- If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
If something in your intake form or our correspondence suggests you may be in crisis, I may pause your reading, share resources, and refund your payment in full. That isn’t a judgment. It’s simply the right care at the right time.
5. Booking and Delivery
When your reading begins
Turnaround begins once both your payment and your completed intake form have been received.
- The Celestial Thread and The Design Thread: 5 business days
- The Thread: 7 business days
How it’s delivered
Readings are delivered as a written PDF report to the email address you provide. An optional audio walkthrough is available as a paid add-on.
Your birth details
Accurate birth date, time, and place are essential. Please double-check them before submitting. If you don’t know your exact birth time, your reading will still be prepared, but some parts (such as your Rising sign and house placements) may be limited or omitted.
Questions after delivery
One follow-up email is included for questions about understanding your report. New questions, other life areas, or a deeper look go beyond clarification and can be booked as a separate reading or a Live Follow-Up Session.
6. Refunds and Corrections — Readings
- Within 3 days of payment: full refund.
- After 3 days, before your reading is delivered: 50% refund.
- After your reading is delivered: no refund.
These terms also apply to the optional audio walkthrough.
Correction guarantee
If your chart was prepared from incorrect birth data, I’ll redo the affected sections at no charge:
- If the error was mine, there is no limit.
- If the birth data you submitted was incorrect, one free correction is included per reading.
Please request corrections within 14 days of delivery. If you submitted without an exact birth time and later find it, an updated reading is a new booking rather than a correction.
How to request a refund
Email amy@theuntangledway.com with your name and the reading you purchased. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method; banks usually take 5–10 business days to process them.
7. Live Follow-Up Sessions
Live Follow-Up Sessions are 30-minute video consultations, paid in full at the time of booking.
- Cancel more than 24 hours before your session: full refund.
- Cancel within 24 hours: no refund, but you may reschedule once at no extra charge.
- Missed sessions: if you don’t join within 10 minutes of the start time without notice, the session is forfeited.
- If I need to cancel: you choose between a full refund or a new time.
8. Digital Products
Digital products (such as downloadable workbooks or self-paced courses) are available immediately after purchase, so they are non-refundable. If a file won’t open or your access isn’t working, contact me and I’ll fix it or send a replacement.
9. The Free Sampler Reading
The Sampler Reading is free, with no purchase required and no obligation to book anything afterward. It follows the same terms as paid readings: reflection, not prediction or advice. Follow-up emails are sent only if you opt in on the request form, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
10. Your Report and My Content
Your report is yours to keep, reread, and share with people in your life. Please don’t resell it, republish it, or use it commercially.
Everything else on this site, including written content, report templates, course materials, and brand artwork, belongs to The Untangled Way and may not be copied or reused without permission.
I will only use anonymized excerpts from your reading if you give permission on your intake form, and I will only quote your feedback if you give permission on the feedback form.
11. Privacy
Birth data is personal information, and I treat it that way. How your information is collected, stored, and deleted is explained in the Privacy & Data Policy.
12. Limitation of Liability
Readings, sessions, and products are provided as described, for reflection and personal insight. To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Untangled Way is not liable for decisions made or actions taken based on a reading, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service or product involved.
13. Changes, Governing Law, and Contact
I may update these terms as The Untangled Way grows. The version posted on this page at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming.
